Rathayatra is a time for self-reflection and prosperity as Lord Jagganath, Lady Subahdra and Lord Baladeva are pulled by their devotees through the busy streets of London, blessing everyone who passes with their large gazing stare.
Attendance of the festival is estimated at 5,000 people on the procession, and about 30,000-40,000 people pass through the square through the afternoon with more than 20,000 free plates of vegetarian food distributed to passer-byers.
