On a Spiritual High: Indore Students Learn Values of Life

Indore, India: About 660 students participated in the youth fest ‘Drishti’, aimed at inculcating spiritual values in students. An online quiz ‘Oh My God India’ was conducted by the educational wing of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in coordination with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya (RGPV), at Sakhar Palace, Amitesh Nagar, Indore (India) on Sunday.

The online registration for the quiz was open since June 1. Students from around 40 colleges of Indore, including Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), IPS Academy, Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Medicaps Group of Institutions and Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT), participated in the quiz.

Chanting the lines, ‘Hare Krishna Hare Krishna’ fest co-ordinator Praneshwar Das said, “Students were given two books on spiritual knowledge during the registration. They had to go through them and answer a set of 49 questions with an essay writing question in an hour.” The ‘mantra rock’ session of the fest was aimed at feeling positive by chanting God’s name and prayers.
