ISKCON’s Mayapur Academy has announced its International Diploma Course in Deity Worship to be held from October 21, 2023 – February 26, 2024, at ISKCON Mayapur, situated on the banks of the Ganges River in West Bengal, India. The course will be taught in English. 

The prestigious course promises to be a life-changing experience and a dive deep into the profound world of deity worship and everything in connection with it.

The Mayapur Academy curriculum was developed and is managed by ISKCON Deity Worship Ministry to fulfill Srila Prabhupada’s desire for the development of deity worship and brahminical culture in ISKCON. It is a joint educational initiative of the ISKCON Mayapur Deity Department and ISKCON Deity Worship Ministry. Its prime function is to train devotees who aspire to take the role of brāhmaṇas and temple pujaris that are capable of fulfilling the needs of ISKCON communities.

This course is designed for those pujaris and devotees eager to learn the art of deity worship in accordance with temple standards. “This is a nice facility and opportunity to train pujaris as Srila Prabhupada wanted, and thus the whole world can be benefited,” said Jananivasa Prabhu.
