From noon on April 26th to noon on April 28th, 2025, the sacred grounds of Kurukshetra will host a revered parikrama in dedication to His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaja. This spiritual journey, first inaugurated in 1992 under his divine guidance, is being lovingly revived by ISKCON Kurukshetra. The event honors the memory of His Holiness on the occasion of his first Tirobhav Utsav.
Devotees will have the opportunity to engage in this sacred parikrama under the divine association of Bhakti Ashraya Vaishnava Swami and Bhakti Anugraha Janardan Swami. During this spiritually uplifting journey, devotees will visit Gita Janmasthan. In this very place, Lord Krishna spoke the Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna. The iconic Sri Krishna Arjun Temple, a chariot-shaped ISKCON temple, stands as a tribute to their eternal bond. The parikrama includes Bhishma Kunda, the site where Bhishma lay on a bed of arrows, and Brahma Sarovar, where Lord Brahma performed penance. Devotees will also witness Abhimanyu Chakravyuh Sthal, the battlefield site of Abhimanyu’s heroic pastime, along with Radha Krishna Milan Mandir, where Sri Sri Radha and Krishna met during the solar eclipse, and Bhadra Kali, the sacred Shaktipeeth that protected Jada Bharat. And many more divine sites await the eager hearts of devotees.
